A proper functioning colon is part of a healthy body. It plays an important role in digestion, immunity, and also maintains the water balance in the body. It is part of the large intestine that extends from the cecum to the rectum.

If your colon does not function properly, it will hold the toxic waste longer than it is supposed to. Unhealthy colon does not move the waste along efficiently.

Eventually, the toxic waste is absorbed in the wall of the colon and into the bloodstream. If the colon is healthy, the food transits through the body in less than 24 hours.

However, modern dietary habits, involving processed foods that lack enzymes, fiber and nutrients, slow down the transition of food to 70 hours. This leads to a toxic colon and more than 20 pounds of accumulated waste material. (research)

Constipation is the most common sign of a toxic colon. It occurs when waste moves too slowly through the large bowel, causing infrequent and/or painful elimination.
Toxic colon -- Symptoms
·            Digestive symptoms
·            Constipation, bloating, diarrhea, gas, indigestion, stomach pain
·            General health
·            Joint and muscle pain
·            Behavioral symptoms
·            Depression, fatigue, anxiety, brain fog, mood swings, poor memory
·            Immune system
·            Poor immune system, recurrent vaginal or bladder infection, skin rashes
Bernard Jensen DC, ND, PhD, is one of the first experts who practiced colon cleansing in order to improve life quality.

In his world popular book, Tissue Cleansing Through Bowel Management, he explained how important colon cleansing is: “The blood capillaries to the colon begin to pick up the toxins, poisons and noxious debris as it seeps through the bowel wall. All tissues and organs of the body are now taking on toxic substances. Here is the beginning of true autointoxication on a physiological level. This accumulation can have the consistency of truck tire rubber. It’s that hard and black.”

The most efficient homemade colon cleanser

Many tips that will surprise you!

A sealed envelope - Put in the freezer for a few hours, then slide a knife under the flap. The envelope  can then be resealed.

Use Empty toilet paper roll to store appliance cordsIt keeps them neat  and  you can  write on the roll that appliance it belongs  to.

For icy door steps in freezing temperatures:  get  warm water and put Dawn dish washing liquid in it. Pour it all  over the steps. They won't  refreeze. (wish I had known  this for the last 40 years!)

To remove old wax from a glass candle holder, put it in the freezer for a few hours. Then  take the candle holder out and turn it upside down. The wax  will  fall out.

Crayon marks on walls? This worked wonderfully! A damp rag, dipped in baking  soda.

Permanent marker on appliances/counter tops  (like store receipt BLUE!) rubbing alcohol on paper  towel.

Blood stains on clothes? Not to worry! Just pour a little hydrogen  peroxide on  a cloth and proceed to wipe off every drop of blood. Works every time!

Use vertical strokes when washing windows outside and horizontal for  inside windows. This way you can tell which side has the streaks. Straight vinegar will get outside windows really clean. Don't wash windows on a sunny day. They will dry too quickly and will probably streak.

Candles will last a lot longer if placed in  the freezer for at least  3 hours prior to burning.
